The TOEFL exam or ETS TOEFL exam is a standard and globally accepted English language test that assesses a candidate’s ability to read, speak, listen, and write in English. If the candidate cancels the exam before the four-day deadline, then he will receive a refund amounting to 50% of the original test fee. There are no refunds for other services.


  • There are no specific criteria as to the age and qualifications that one must possess in order to take the TOEFL exam. However, it is mandatory that you possess a valid passport if you want to take the exam.
  • There are no such limitations as to the number of times a candidate can retake the test. Bear in mind that there has to be time lag of 3 days between two tests.

  1. TOEFL Reading Section:

A candidate can apply for a full refund if he cancels the test 14 days before the test date. If the candidate cancels the exam 7 days before the test date, then he is eligible for a 50% refund. If a candidate cancels the exam less than 7 days before the exam, then there will not be any refund facility available.

Candidates can reschedule their test date by paying additional charges, If a candidate reschedules the test 13-8 days before the actual test date, then he has to pay 50% of the rescheduling fee for the renewed test date. Candidates that reschedule their exam less than 7 days before the actual test date, have to pay the fee in full for the renewed test date.


These are the general steps that you need to follow to register for the PTE exam:

  • Create a web account on the official PTE academic website. After opening the account, fill in the details including your passport details
